Please do not be late.
Parents are asked to leave once their children enter the school building. At the start of the day, staff are on duty in each cloakroom and can pass on information. The teachers are more able to meet with parents at the end of the day, but if your discussion is likely to take longer than a few minutes, it is best to telephone to make an appointment.
We ask that all enquiries for the office are made using the main school entrance. This means that from the cloakrooms, you will need to walk around the outside of the building and your co-operation with this is appreciated.
The school day officially starts with a bell ringing at 8.55 a.m. Children should not arrive on site before 8.45 a.m. unless they are attending the Pilgrim Care Club. At 8.45 a.m. children are allowed to enter the building and get ready for the school day. Once inside, they will be supervised by staff.
Please note that children should not stay outside on their own after 8.45 a.m., as they will be unsupervised on the playground. Children who arrive late and miss registration should report to the school office and, depending on their arrival time, may be given a late mark on the register.
